Well let me tell you about it! First and foremost boudoir photography is not vulgar or improper in any way. If that is what you are looking for I am not the photographer for you. "Boudoir" is defined as a lady's bedroom or private sitting room. Boudoir photography is capturing tasteful and sensual images of women (ages 18 and up) in lingerie, bathing suits and/or being partially clothed. Clothing suggestions are listed below. It is more suggestive and not as much revealing. My emphasis is on making you look as beautiful and desirable as you really are. Your comfort level is my utmost concern. I never want you to do anything or pose in a way that makes you uncomfortable.
Who does boudoir photography?
Boudoir photography is often done by a bride to be. She will present her husband with an album/calendar of her images on their wedding night. Other times for boudoir photography are Anniversaries, Valentine's Day, Birthdays or ANY time you want to give your significant other a very special gift he will never forget! Sometimes a small group of women choose boudoir photography as a bachlorette party or a girls night out event. Whatever your occasion my mission is to make you feel beautiful!
What can I expect?
Since "boudoir" is defined as a woman's sitting area or bedroom, I can come to you and do your session in your own bedroom. Or if you prefer you can come to my private home studio for your session. Wherever your session takes place, I want you to feel totally comfortable and at ease. It is natural to feel a little nervous in the beginning. I promise you that will fade away and you will have a great time! You will have the freedom to truly express yourself during a boudoir session. Your emotions and personality are expertly captured. Are you concerned about the way you look? All of us would like to change something about our appearance. However, with creative lighting, clothing choices and a subtle amount of retouching I will turn your images into works of art. You will be excited about how gorgeous you look in the finished images!

If you are getting married your shoes and wedding veil are great to bring! Or even raiding your significant other's closet works too! Items like his favorite sport jersey, boxer shorts, dress shirt and tie, his hat, etc.
