Thank you for visiting my website! As you can probably tell I love photography! I have been married for almost 19 years to my best friend and soul mate. Through our love we have brought three beautiful daughters into our lives. They are my world and it makes me sad how quickly they are growing and changing every day. I have been fortunate enough to be able to stay home with them and for that I am forever grateful. They are now in school during the day so that has allowed me time to pursue my creative side a little more. Once I got my hands on my first real camera and started shooting, I had found my path! I have an insatiable desire to learn everything possible about photography. I read all the books I can find, take classes whenever I am able to and keep up on all the current photography trends. I hope I never stop learning. There is so much inspiration out there! I love that through photography, I can capture raw emotions and feelings I sometimes have a hard time describing in words. I once had a friend of mine tell me I had captured her children perfectly. That it was so "them" and made her teary as she looked through her images. That's when I knew I was doing exactly what I was supposed to be doing. It makes me sad that I wasted almost 10 years of my children's life not capturing and documenting their stories as I could have. Those are precious moments that I can never get back. Childhood is filled with such wonder, innocence and excitement but passes much too quickly. I am now trying to make up for lost time and make sure my children will have lots of photo albums to pull out and show their children someday.
My approach on photography tends to be a more casual, documentary style. I shoot on location and use natural light whenever possible. I love lots of color in my images, lots of contrast in my black and whites and vintage images make me happy! I love smiles and giggles, serious stares, real emotion and people in love. I try to capture it all. I am located in Central Ohio and reside in Marysville. I capture engagement, maternity, newborn, children, family and senior photography. I also do head shots and band promo pictures as well as special events.
I am happy. I am blessed. I love what I am doing and the path I am headed down. I am thankful for every day God has given me to share with family and friends. ♥
